Viral Now: A girl from Bulacan was intercepted by the security team in SM Pulilan due to the unusual design of her phone case, which was mistaken for a knife.
Icole De Guzman Gleane, the case’s owner, says she was only going to a dental clinic when the mall’s security officers stopped her because she was carrying a knife.
“Pagpasok ng SM Pulilan. Hinarang agad ako ng 2 Guard, tapos biglang dumating pa ‘yung 1 guard at 1 Officer. Shawtawt po sa inyo SM Pulilan. Magpapa-X-ray lang po ako ng ngipin, HINDI PO AKO MASAMANG TAO,”
says Icole on her Facebook post.
The Security team laughed when they discovered it was merely a phone case and not a real knife as they expressed concern about the appearance of Icole’s phone case. Icole, on the other hand, admitted that she was nervous as well at that time.
“Di ko na gagamitin ‘tong case na ‘to. Ilang beses na naharang e 😂😂,”
she added.
