The BJMP Recruitment is a process that selects qualified individuals to join the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology.
As of now, the BJMP recruitment is officially closed.

Qualifications
To be eligible for the Jail Officer I position at the BJMP, you must fulfill several criteria:
- A Citizen of the Republic of the Philippines;
- A Person of Good Moral Character;
- Must possess a Baccalaureate Degree from a recognized institution of learning
- Must possess appropriate eligibility (Second Level eligibilities: CSE-Professional, RA 1080, Penology Officer Examination, PD 907 Honor Graduate eligibility, and MARINA eligibility.)
- Must not have been convicted by Final Judgement of an offense or crime involving moral turpitude
- Must not have been dishonorably discharged or dismissed from previous employment.
- Must not be less than Twenty-one (21) nor more than Thirty (30) years of age.
- Must be at least 1.57m in Height for Males and 1.52m in Height for Females.
- Must be physically and mentally fit for rigid training.
- Must not have a TATTOO.

- Application Letter
- COMPUTERIZED Personal Data Sheet (revised 2017) (Downloadable here)
- Original MDF verified by PAG-IBIG
- Original MDR verified by PhilHealth
- Original TIN Verification from BIR
- Original Transcript of Records
- Original College Diploma
- Original Birth Certificate issued by PSA
- Original Certificate of Eligibility or Board Rating & PRC ID
- Original Valid Clearances from Permanent Address (NBI, Police, Barangay, MTC, RTC, & Prosecutor’s)
- Original PNP Directorate for Intelligence Clearance
- Original Valid Community Tax Certificate
- Original certificates of previous & present employment (if any)
- Original certificate/s of Seminars/Training completed (if any)
- Original Marriage Certificate (if married)
- Original Certificate of Confirmation from NCIP/NCMF (if applicable)

- Bring original documents for evaluation.
- Bring 1 piece of 1×1 and 2 pieces of Passport Size Pictures with a name tag and signature.
- All documents submitted must be authenticated by appropriate authorities.

What are the Benefits?
If you apply for the Jail Officer I position at the BJMP, you’ll receive a monthly base pay of PhP29,668 (salary grade 10) and a gross monthly salary of PhP37,448.
Plus, you’ll receive various benefits, such as an allowance, medical and dental benefits, and longevity pay, among others.
Additionally, you’ll be entitled to hazard pay of PhP540 per month.
