1. Basic Eligibility:

  • All applicants must be Filipino citizens.
  • They should meet the basic requirements for the job position they’re applying for.

2. For Internal Candidates and Applicants from Other Government Agencies:

  • Promotion to Non-Entry Positions:
    • Submit your latest IPCR (Individual Performance Commitment and Review).
    • You must have at least 90 days of service within the semi-annual rating period (January-June or July-December) to receive a performance rating.
    • If you don’t have 90 days in this period, you’ll need to wait for the next rating period for evaluation.
    • Example: If Juan Dela Cruz was promoted to Weather Observer I on April 15, 2021, he should submit his IPCR for July-Dec 2021 for his next promotion application.
  • Promotion to Entry-Level Positions (WOA, WOBI, WFTI, WSPI, WFSI):
    • No IPCR is needed. Submit your application directly.

3. Application Process for PAGASA Employees:

  • For Applications in Other Divisions:
    • Get your Division Chief’s approval through email before sending your application to HRMDS.
  • For Applications within Your Current Division:
    • Send a copy of your application to your Division Chief.

4. Application Email Requirements:

  • Email Subject Line: Follow this format – Position Title, Division/Office of Assignment (e.g., Weather Observer I, VPRSD/Bohol Radar).
  • Application Letter: Clearly state the item number, position title, and division for each position you’re applying to.
  • Personal Data Sheet (PDS): Complete all fields. Write “N.A.” for sections that don’t apply to you.
