Qualifications

To qualify for the Jail Officer I position at the BJMP, you must meet these qualifications:

  • A Citizen of the Republic of the Philippines;
  • A Person of Good Moral Character;
  • Must possess a Baccalaureate Degree from a recognized institution of learning
  • Must possess appropriate eligibility (Second Level eligibilities: CSE-Professional, RA 1080, Penology Officer Examination, PD 907 Honor Graduate eligibility, and MARINA eligibility.)
  • Must not have been convicted by Final Judgement of an offense or crime involving moral turpitude
  • Must not have been dishonorably discharged or dismissed from previous employment.
  • Must not be less than Twenty-one (21) nor more than Thirty (30) years of age.
  • Must be at least 1.57m in Height for Males and 1.52m in Height for Females.
  • Must weigh not more or less than five (5) Kilograms from the standard weight corresponding to his/her height, age, and sex (Body Index Max Factor).
  • Must be physically and mentally fit for rigid training.
  • Must not have a TATTOO.

  1. Application Letter
  2. COMPUTERIZED Personal Data Sheet (revised 2025)
  3. Original MDF verified by PAG-IBIG
  4. Original MDR verified by PhilHealth
  5. Original TIN Verification from BIR
  6. Original Transcript of Records
  7. Original College Diploma
  8. Original Birth Certificate issued by PSA
  9. Original Certificate of Eligibility or Board Rating & PRC ID
  10. Original Valid Clearances from Permanent Address (NBI, Police, Barangay, MTC, RTC, & Prosecutor’s)
  11. Original PNP Directorate for Intelligence Clearance
  12. Original Valid Community Tax Certificate
  13. Original certificate/s of previous & present employment (if any)
  14. Original certificate/s of Seminars/Training completed (if any)
  15. Original Marriage Certificate (if married)
  16. Original Certificate of Confirmation from NCIP/NCMF (if applicable)

Benefits

As a Jail Officer I, you’ll receive:

  • Monthly base pay of PhP ₱31,151 (SG-10).
