General Qualifications

To qualify for the PNP Patrolman/Patrolwoman recruitment, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • A citizen of the Philippines
  • A person of good moral character
  • Physically and mentally fit
  • Must possess a formal baccalaureate degree from a recognized learning institution
  • Must have any of the following eligibilities:
    • NAPOLCOM PNP Entrance Examination
    • Civil Service Professional Examination
    • R.A. No. 1080 (Bar and Board Passers of Baccalaureate Degree)
    • R.A. No. 6506 (Licensed Criminologists)
    • P.D. No. 907 (Granting Civil Service Eligibility to College Honor Graduates)
  • Must not have been dishonorably discharged from military employment or dismissed for cause from any civilian position in the government
  • Must not have been convicted by final judgment of an offense or crime involving moral turpitude
  • Must meet the height requirement:
    • At least 5’2″ (157 cm) for male applicants
    • At least 5’0″ (152.4 cm) for female applicants
  • Must have a weight that is within five kilograms (5 kg) of the standard weight corresponding to height, age, and sex
  • Must be between twenty-one (21) and thirty (30) years old

Please prepare the following initial documents:

Personal Documents:

  1. PSA-issued Birth Certificate (for Patrolman/Patrolwoman applicant)
  2. PSA-issued Marriage Contract (if married)
  3. PSA-issued Birth Certificate of Dependents
  4. PSA-issued Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR) (if single)

School Documents:

  1. College Diploma & Transcript of Records (TOR)
  2. General Weighted Average (GWA) of TOR
  3. Good Moral Character Certificate (from last attended school)
  4. Certification, Authentication & Verification (CAV) of TOR

  1. Report of Rating
  2. For PRC: Attach authenticated PRC License

Clearances:

  1. National Police Clearance
  2. Barangay Clearance
  3. Mayor’s Clearance
  4. Prosecutor/Fiscal Clearance
  5. MTC Clearance
  6. RTC Clearance
  7. NBI Clearance

Other Documents:

  1. Service Record (if previously employed in government service) – Original Copy
  2. Tax Identification Number (TIN), PhilHealth, and PAG-IBIG Number
  3. Height Waiver (if applicable)

JPEG Photo Requirements (White Background Only):

  1. One (1) colored whole-body picture (JPEG)
  2. One (1) bust-size photo (JPEG)

Salary for Patrolman/ Patrolwoman

A Patrolman or Patrolwoman in the Philippine National Police (PNP) receives a monthly base salary of Php 31,151.00.
