Job Description

Laundry Attendant

As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that all laundry services run smoothly and efficiently.

Your duties will include:

  • Check the quality of work according to the instructions given.
  • Follow instructions and directives from supervisors.
  • Complete assigned forms and records.
  • Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store laundry items, including linens, towels, staff uniforms, and other fabrics.

  • Use detergents, bleach, and fabric softeners appropriately.
  • Sort laundry by type, color, and fabric to ensure proper washing methods.

  • Maintain cleanliness in the laundry area by sweeping, mopping, and keeping equipment clean and functional.
  • Report issues with laundry equipment to the supervisor for repair or maintenance.
  • Ensure laundry supplies such as detergent, fabric softener, and bleach are well-stocked.

Qualifications for Laundry Attendant

To qualify for the Laundry Attendant position, you must meet specific qualifications.

  • Minimum of 2 years of proven working experience.
  • Must have a TESDA NC II Certificate in Housekeeping.
  • Ability to work in hot, noisy, and humid environments due to the nature of the laundry process.
  • Must be able to bend, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Knowledgeable in the use of laundry chemicals and safe handling.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of quality management, quality control, inventory management, and placing orders as needed.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Must have a newly renewed passport.

Salary of Laundry Attendant

The starting gross monthly salary for a Laundry Attendant in Greece is around Php 79,000, with 48 work hours per week.

Your employer will provide accommodation, and the job comes with a seven (7) month contract per year, renewable for up to five years.
