Job Description

Dishwasher

As a Dishwasher, you are responsible for cleaning and sanitizing kitchen items to ensure a tidy and efficient work environment.

Your duties will include:

  • Load and unload dishes, pots, pans, glasses, and utensils into and out of the dishwashing machine.
  • Ensure all dishes are cleaned and sanitized properly, following health regulations.
  • Sort and organize dishes and utensils before washing.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, ensuring workspaces are tidy and free from debris.
  • Organize and store clean dishes, glassware, and utensils.
  • Monitor dishwashing equipment to ensure proper functionality, reporting issues to the supervisor.
  • Clean kitchen utensils, ceramics, glassware, and pans.
  • Maintain and upkeep refrigerators.
  • Clean deep fryers and grills.
  • Assist in the kitchen when free and available.
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures, including wearing appropriate gloves and protective gear.

Qualifications for Dishwasher

To qualify for the Dishwasher position, you must meet specific qualifications.

  • Minimum of 2 years of proven working experience.
  • TESDA NC II Certificate in Housekeeping.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledgeable in quality management, quality control, inventory management, and placing orders.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Newly renewed passport.

Salary of Dishwasher

The starting gross monthly salary for a Dishwasher in Greece is around Php 79,000, with 48 work hours per week.

Your employer will provide accommodation, and the job comes with a seven (7) month contract per year, renewable for up to five years.
