PAF Recruitment Qualifications
Here are the following qualifications below for the PAF Officer Candidate and Special Enlistment:
PAF Officer Candidate
Here are the qualifications for PAF Officer Candidate:
- A male or female, natural-born citizen of the Republic of the Philippines;
- Single, never been married, never borne or sired a child, and without legal obligation to support a child/children;
- With a height of at least 152.4cm (5 feet) for both males and females;
- Must be physically and mentally fit for military training:
- With good moral character;
- At least 21 years old but not a day older than 27 years old upon admission on training (Born between December 27, 1997 to December 27, 2003); and
- Must be a Baccalaureate Degree holder.
Special Enlistment
Here are the qualifications for Special Enlistment:
- A male or female, natural-born citizen of the Republic of the Philippines;
- Single, never been married, never borne or sired a child, and without legal obligation to support a child/children;
- With a height of at least 152.4cm (5 feet) for both males and females;
- Must be physically and mentally fit for military training;
- With good moral character;
- At least 18 years old but not a day older than 35 years old upon enlistment (Born between December 27, 1989 to December 27, 2006; and
- At least complete the K-12 basic education or have at least 72 units of collegiate courses from an educational institution recognized by the government.
Initial Requirements
Here are the Initial Requirements for both PAF Officer Candidate and Special Enlistment:
- Fully accomplished PAF Application form;
- 2 pcs 2×2 latest ID picture with white background;
Original, photocopy, and scanned copy of the following documents:
- Transcript of Record (TOR) and Diploma;
- PSA Birth Certificate;
- Valid AFPSAT IRF (for applicants who took AFPSAT at Philippine Army and Philippine Navy);
- Certificate from the National Commission on Indigenous People (NCIP) duly signed by the Regional Director (for Indigenous People applicants only).

How to Apply
Here’s how to apply:
Go to the nearest Processing/Examination Center to personally register and bring the ORIGINAL, PHOTOCOPY, and SCANNED COPY of the following requirements:
- PSA Issued Birth Certificate
- Transcript of Records (TOR) and Form 137 for Senior High School Graduates (Original and Authenticated by School Registrar)
- Certificate of Graduation duly signed by the School Registrar (If the applicant is a graduating or newly graduated)
- Diploma (Original and Authenticated by School Registrar)
- 2 pcs latest 2×2 ID picture in white background
- Certificate from the National Commission of Indigenous People (NCIP) duly signed by the Regional Director (only for Indigenous People members)
- VALID AFPSAT IRF (for applicants who took AFPSAT in the Philippine Army and Philippine Navy) (Note: AFPSAT is valid only for three years from the date of examination)
- Duly accomplished PAF APPLICATION FORM (https://www.paf.mil.ph/…/paf-application-form-pafocc-cl…)
Note: Applicants who previously passed the Armed Forces of the Philippines Service Aptitude Test (AFPSAT) taken from any branch of service, such as the Philippine Army and Philippine Navy, shall bring the original and photocopy of their valid Individual Report Form (IRF) and shall only take the PAF General Classification Test (PAFGCT).
Exemption in Taking the Qualifying Exam
Applicants who are LICENSED CRIMINOLOGISTS shall bring the ORIGINAL, PHOTOCOPY, and SCANNED COPY and submit the photocopy of the following requirements for them to be exempted from taking the examinations in WHITE FOLDER FOR PAFOCC and GREEN FOLDER FOR SPECIAL ENLISTMENT with blue tabbing:
- FULLY ACCOMPLISHED PAF APPLICATION FORM (MUST BE PROCESSED BY PAF PROCESSING CENTER AND HAVE UNDERGONE THE LIMITED PHYSICAL EXAM);
- TRANSCRIPT OF RECORDS AND DIPLOMA;
- PSA ISSUED BIRTH CERTIFICATE;
- CRIMINOLOGIST LICENSURE EXAMINATION RATING FROM PRC;
- PRC ID (MUST BE VALID AND NOT EXPIRED);
- CERTIFICATION OF GOVERNMENT SERVICES (IF APPLICABLE)
- CERTIFICATE OF WORK EXPERIENCE RELATED TO CRIMINOLOGY (IF APPLICABLE);
- SEMINARS/TRAININGS, if any (MUST BE RELATED TO THE PRACTICE OF CRIMINOLOGY, MUST BEAR THE FULL NAME OF THE OWNER);
- AWARDS/RECOGNITION, if any (MUST BE RELATED TO THE PRACTICE OF CRIMINOLOGY, MUST BEAR THE FULL NAME OF THE OWNER).
