What is the PMA Entrance Exam?
The Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Entrance Exam is for individuals who want to join the Cadet Corps of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and become future military leaders.
Taking the entrance exam is the first step toward entering the Academy. If you believe you have the discipline, courage, and commitment to serve, you may apply for the PMA Entrance Exam 2026.
The exam is challenging and designed to test your mental ability, physical readiness, and character. Only those who pass will enter the Academy for four years of academic, military, and leadership training.
After graduation, cadets are commissioned as Second Lieutenants in the Army or Air Force, or as Ensigns in the Navy. Becoming a PMA graduate means dedicating yourself to serve and lead the nation with honor.

Qualifications for Admission
To qualify for the PMA Entrance Exam 2026 for Class 2031, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a natural-born Filipino citizen;
- Must be at least 17 years of age and NOT MORE THAN 22 years of age on on the day of admission;
- Must be at least a Senior High School Graduate (Grade 12);
- Must have at least a Senior High School GPA/GWA of 85%;
- Must have a barefoot height of NOT LESS THAN 5’0″ (152.4cm) but not more than 6’4″ (193.04cm) for both male and female;
- Must be single, never been married, nor pregnant, nor has a legal obligation to support a child or children;
- Must be of good moral character;
- Must have no administrative or criminal case;
- Must pass the PMA Entrance Examination;
- Must be physically and mentally fit for military training;
- Must pass the Complete Physical-Medical Examination by AFP Medical Board Nr 1;
- Must pass the Physical Fitness Test and Aptitude for the Service Interview.

Medical Disqualifications
Applicants may be disqualified from the PMA Entrance Exam if they have certain medical conditions.
Below are some common medical disqualifications:
- Color blindness
- Any communicable disease
- Physical deformities
- Scoliosis
- Tattoos
- Other medical conditions as determined by the AFP Medical Board
Requirements for Online Application
Prepare the following requirements before starting your online application:
- Computer or smartphone/mobile device with internet access
- A valid and working email account
- Copy of PSA birth certificate and Form 137/138 or Transcript of Record in image JPEG or PDF format.
- ALL PAGES of the document should be saved in ONE (1) document file format.
NOTE: Copies of PSA birth certificate and Form 137/138 are required and will be uploaded in the PMA Online Cadet Application System.
How to Apply for the PMA Entrance Exam Online
Reminder: All interested applicants are advised to read and understand the qualifications and requirements before applying online.
Once you have confirmed that you meet the eligibility criteria, you may proceed with the online application process.
Follow the steps below to guide you:
Step 1: Access the online application link
Admission.pma.edu.phor scan the QR Code to access the Cadet Application System Landing Page.
Step 2: Click “Not registered yet? Sign-up instead”
- Admission.pma.edu.ph or scan the QR Code to access the Cadet Application System Landing Page.
Note: ALL NEW and RE-APPLICANTS shall register new accounts. Old accounts are no longer valid for this recruitment and selection cycle.
Step 3: Fill out and complete the Sign-up Section.
Step 4: Recheck your information and Click the “Sign-up” button.
Note: DO NOT FORGET your EMAIL and PASSWORD. Use it to sign in to your Philippine Military Academy Online Cadet Application System account.
Step 5: Personal Information
If the verification code is valid, you will automatically be signed in/logged in to your Philippine Military Academy Online Cadet Application System account. Click the “Personal Information” Tab.
Step 6: Accomplish and fill out the data fields with your CORRECT personal information.
- Data fields with “*” are required to be filled.
- Incorrect information may invalidate your application.
Note: Your preferred Exam Site/Center can be changed anytime before closing of the Online Application. Further, Exam Sites/Centers are not yet final. Monitor Philippine Military Academy Facebook Page for Exam Center updates.
Step 7: Save Information
Once all required data fields and other fields are accomplished, Click the “Save Information” button at the bottom of the page.
Note: Data fields with “*” are required to be filled.
Step 8: Educational Background
After saving the Personal Information Tab, sub-tabs will appear below the Personal Information Tab. Click the “Educational Background” Tab.
Step 9: Click the “Add Educational Background” Button.
Step 10: Fill- up all fields for “Educational Background.”
Step 11: Once all required data and other fields are accomplished, click the “SAVE” button.
Note:
- Make sure all entries are CORRECT.
- ALL APPLICANTS NEED TO ADD AT LEAST their HIGH SCHOOL credentials. College-level students may add their credentials as applicable.
Step 12: Click the “Requirements” Tab.
Upload your scanned documents (Form 137/138, Transcript of Records as applicable, and PSA birth certificate) as an attachment (Click the “Choose File” button). After uploading, Click the “Save” button.
Note: Upload one (1) file for each requirement. All scanned pages must be in one (1) file.
Step 13: Survey and Save Button
Click the “Survey” Tab and answer the question by selecting from the options in the list. After choosing an answer, click the “Save Changes” button.
After clicking “Save Changes”, you will be directed to the Notifications Page to display your Application Progress.
Step 14: Sign out of your account
Sign out of your account after completing the application process by clicking the “Sign-out” button. You have completed the online application process.
Note:
- Applicants can sign-in/login to their accounts to update their personal information and requirements during the prescribed period of online application. ALWAYS LOG-IN TO YOUR ACCOUNT TO MONITOR APPLICATION STATUS.
- Click the Notification Bell to access notification page and monitor status. Once validated, System will send a notification/email to the applicants’ personal email the examination permit for the PMA Entrance Exam as the next phase of the admission process. Access to downloading Exam permits via applicant online accounts will be announced later.
- Applicants are advised to monitor the official PMA Facebook Page “Philippine Military Academy Face-Bok” and the PMA website for updates for the admission process for PMA Class 2031.

The official schedule for the PMA Entrance Exam 2026 for different regions has not yet been announced.
Applicants are advised to regularly check the official PMA website and verified announcements for updates regarding the exam dates and other important details.

What to Do If You Pass the PMAEE
Applicants who pass the PMA Entrance Exam (PMAEE) will be officially notified by the Office of Cadet Admission (OCA) through mail, newspaper publication, and announcements on the official website.
