Before you apply, it’s important to know the qualifications and requirements set by the Philippine Army.
Qualifications for Philippine Army Applicants
To join the Philippine Army in 2026, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
Officer Candidate Course (OCC):
- Baccalaureate degree holder
- Natural-born Filipino citizen
- At least 5 feet tall (both male & female)
- Physically and mentally fit
- At least 21 years old but not a day older than 27 years old on the date of admission
- No pending cases in any court
Candidate Soldier Course (CSC):
- At least 72 units in College or K-12 (Senior High School) graduate
- Natural-born Filipino citizen
- Single with no parental obligation
- At least 5 feet tall (both male & female)
- Physically & mentally fit
- At least 18 years old but not a day older than 26 years old upon entry
- No pending cases in any court

- PSA issued Birth Certificate
- Any government-issued ID
Candidate Soldier Course (CSC):
