About the CSC
The Candidate Soldier Course is a training program for individuals to join the military as enlisted personnel.
It covers basic military skills, discipline, and fitness.
After completing the course, recruits are enlisted as Privates, starting their military careers.
Enlist in the Army
The Candidate Soldier Course includes the following modules to help you become a better individual. A transformation road-map that will make you a true Army Troops;

- Basic Squad Training Module
- Warfighting Module
Training Duration
The Candidate Soldier Course is a 16-week training to adopt the three modules.
Training Entitlement
The following are the benefits of joining the Candidate Soldier Course:
- Pay and allowances PhP33,327.00/month while on Training as a Candidate Soldier
- Pay and allowances PhP37,038.00/month while on Training as a Private

Initial Requirements
Here are the following requirements you need to join the Candidate Soldier Course:
- High school Diploma/K-12 Diploma
- Form 137 / Copy of Grades
- PSA Birth Certificate
- Valid ID
Qualifications
When joining the Candidate Soldier Course training program, you must meet the following qualifications.
- At least 72 units or a Senior High School graduate
- Natural-born Filipino citizen
- Single with no parental obligation
- At least 5 feet tall (both male & female)
- Physically & mentally fit
- At least 18 years old but not a day older than 26 years old upon oath-taking
- No pending cases in any court
Application Process

- Registration: Begin by submitting your application for enlistment.
- Armed Forces of the Philippines Service Aptitude Test (AFPSAT): Take a test to evaluate your abilities and suitability for the army.

- Philippine Army Officer Selection Committee Interview: Attend an interview to discuss your qualifications for enlistment.
- Physical Fitness Test: Prove your physical capability through a series of tests.

- Philippine Army Officer Admission Board: Your qualifications are reviewed by a board for final selection.
- Oath-Taking: Take an oath to officially join the army.
