Job Description
Here’s a list of job duties and responsibilities for a Healthcare Assistant:
- Provide primary care and assistance to patients, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to healthcare professionals
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation of patients as needed
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
- Administer medication and perform basic medical procedures under the supervision of a healthcare professional
- Document patient care and observations accurately and on time
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures as needed
