Minimum Qualification Standards for Fire Officer I

To qualify for the Fire Officer I (FO1) position, you must meet the following:

• A citizen of the Republic of the Philippines;
• A person of good moral character;
• Must passed the Neuro-Psychiatric Evaluation, Medical Examination and Drug Test for the purpose of determining his/her Physical and Mental Health;
• Must possess a baccalaureate degree from a recognized institution of learning;
• Must possess the appropriate 2^nd Level of Eligibility;
• Must not be less than twenty-one (21) nor more than thirty (30) years of age;
• Must be at least 1.57 meters or 5’2” for Male, and 1.52 meters or 5’0” for Female,
• Thus, applicants who did not meet the height qualification standards must present their Certificate of Age, Height, Age/Height Waiver signed by the Chief BFP;
• Must weigh not more or less than five (5) kilograms from the standard weight corresponding to his/her height, age and sex;
• Must not have been convicted by final judgment of an offense or crime involving moral turpitude.

BFP Fire Officer I Salary

The monthly base salary of a Fire Officer I at the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) is ₱29,668 (Salary Grade 10).
