BFP Region 7 Recruitment

BFP Region 7 has recently announced that it is accepting applications for one hundred thirty two (132) vacancies for Fire Officer 1 (FO1) Regular Recruitment CY 2023.

General Qualifications

  • A citizen of the Republic of the Philippines;
  • A person of good moral character;
  • Must have passed the neuro-psychiatric evaluation, medical examination and drug test for the purpose of determining his/her physical and mental health;
  • Must not have been dishonorably discharged or dismissed for cause from previous employment; and
  • Must not have been convicted by final judgement of an offense or crime involving moral turpitude.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Male or Female Filipino Citizen not less than twenty-one (21) nor more than thirty (30) years of age;
  • Must be at least 1.57 meters or 5’2″ in height for male and 1.52 meters or 5’0″ for female;
  • Must weigh not more or less than five (5) kilograms from the standard weight corresponding to his/her height, age and sex;
  • Must possess a Baccalaureate degree from a recognized institute of learning;
  • Must have Civil Service Commission (CSC) 2nd level eligibilities (RA 1080, FOE, or PD 907 Eligibility);

Documentary Requirements

Considering the prevailing situation brought by the COVID-19 Pandemic and in compliance with IATF-MEID protocols, interested qualified applicants shall register online through this link (https://bfpr7.com) and submit their application folders (hard copy) to their respective provincial offices for Bohol, Negros Oriental, and Siquijor. Interested applicants from Lapu-Lapu City should submit their folders to Lapu-Lapu City Fire District. For Cebu province applicants, submit their folders directly to BFP RO7 Attn: Regional Admin Division Office containing the following documentary requirement starting 0800H 11 April 2022 until 1700H 24 April 2023, to wit:

  • Application Letter stating their intent to apply to the position of Fire Officer 1 (FO1) and addressed to CSUPT ROBERTO M GENAVE, DSC, Regional Director, BFP Region 7;
  • Authenticated copy of Service Record (for former government employees);
  • One (1) Handwritten Personal Data Sheet (PDS) – (CSC Form 212 Revised 2017) kindly print in black and use blue ink pen for affixing all signatures; DO NOT use sign pen.
  • Three (3) authenticated copies of Transcript of Records (purpose should be FOR EMPLOYMENT) and College Diploma;
  • Three (3) authenticated copies of Second Level Eligibility from CSC/PRC (PRC ID and Board Rating);
  • Three (3) original copies of Certificate of Live Birth issued by PSA;
  • Three (3) original copies of Certificate of Marriage and Birth Certificate of dependents (if applicable) issued by PSA;
  • Original/ authenticated copy of recent clearances from Barangay, National Police, Mayor, NBI, RTC, and MTC;
  • Authenticated Certificate of Waiver (for applicants with age and/or height deficiency/ies);
  • Photocopy of Philhealth Card bearing your number;
  • Photocopy of Pag-IBIG Card bearing your number;
  • Photocopy of Tax Identification bearing your number
  • Photocopy of LTO, Professional driver’s License, and NC II or NC III certification for driving from TESDA (if there’s any)
  • Secure in advance a copy of their ECG result with interpretation and serum pregnancy test result (for females) to be sent to this email bfphealthservice7@gmail.com. If the applicants failed on the initial screening, his/her application shall immediately be denied.
