Standard Allowances and Benefits

2. Mid-Year Bonus

  • Equal to 1 month of basic salary

3. Year-End Bonus and Cash Gift

5. Representation and Transportation Allowance (RATA)

6. Subsistence, Laundry, and Hazard Pay

8. Mobile and Internet Allowance

9. Step Increment

  • A small salary increase after 3 years of continuous, satisfactory service

Special Purpose Allowances and Benefits

1. Magna Carta Benefits

  • For teachers, health workers, and social workers
  • May include hazard pay, meal allowance, and remote area bonus
  • Based on specific laws like the Magna Carta for Public Health Workers (RA 7305) or Magna Carta for Teachers (RA 4670)

2. Longevity Pay

  • For uniformed personnel like police and soldiers
  • Given every 5 years of continuous service

3. Extra Pay for Special Projects

  • For those working on special or foreign-funded programs
  • The amount depends on the project

4. Productivity Enhancement Incentive (PEI)

  • ₱5,000 fixed amount
  • Usually given in December
  • Subject to DBM confirmation and agency eligibility

5. CNA Incentive (Collective Negotiation Agreement)

  • For employees covered by a union agreement
  • Amount based on savings from the agency’s cost-cutting efforts

6. Per Diem (Travel Allowance)

  • Given to employees who travel for official business, training, or field assignments
  • Covers meals, lodging, and other travel-related expenses
  • Amount depends on destination and agency guidelines
  • Approved only for official trips and not given regularly

Incentives and Rewards

These are given to employees for good performance, loyalty, or helping the agency reach its goals.

1. Loyalty Award

  • Given after 10 years of service and every 5 years after
  • Around ₱1,000 per year of service
  • Includes a certificate or token of appreciation

2. Anniversary Bonus

  • Given during milestone years like 15th, 20th, or 25th anniversary
  • Employee must have worked for at least 1 year before the anniversary

3. Performance-Based Bonus (PBB)

  • Given every year based on the performance of the agency and employee
  • Amount depends on performance ranking and agency category

4. PRAISE Program

  • Given to individuals or teams for excellent service
  • Rewards may include cash prizes, certificates, trophies, or other gifts
