NAPOLCOM Exam Requirements

Before applying for the NAPOLCOM Exam, applicants must prepare the required documents according to their category.

PNP Entrance Exam (Civilian)

  1. Notice generated after registering online (printed or electronic copy);
  2. Two (2) colored recent passport size photo (in white shirt and white background) with name tag (first, middle, and last names);
  3. One (1) valid government-issued ID with applicant’s date of birth (National, Passport, Postal, Driver’s License, etc.);
  4. Photocopy (present the original) or Certified Xerox Copy of ANY of the following:
  5. One (1) legal-size window envelope with mailing stamp (the worth of the mailing stamp will be determined by the Regional Office based on the ordinary mail services rate of PHLPOST); and,
  6. Examination Fee: Four Hundred Pesos (PhP400.00).

PNP Entrance Exam (Patrolman/Patrolwoman with Temporary Status of Appointment)

  1. Notice generated after registering online (printed or electronic copy);
  2. Two (2) colored recent passport-size photo (in PNP uniform with white background) with name tag (rank, first, middle, and last names);
  3. PNP ID;
  4. One (1) legal-size window envelope with mailing stamp (the worth of the mailing stamp will be determined by the Regional Office based on the ordinary mail services rate of PHLPOST); and,
  5. Examination Fee: Four Hundred Pesos (PhP400.00).

Promotional Exams (PO4th, PO3rd, PO2nd and P01st Classes)

  1. Notice generated after registering online (printed or electronic copy);

  3. PNP ID;

    a. PO 4th Class – Four Hundred Pesos (PhP400.00);

    d. PO 1st Class – Six Hundred Pesos (PhP600.00).

PESE-Written Exam

  1. Properly accomplished Examination Application form and Information Card (to be provided by the NAPOLCOM Regional Office);
  2. PNP ID;
  3. Two (2) recent colored passport size photo (in PNP uniform with white background) with name tag (rank, first, middle, and last names); and
  4. Examination Fee: Seven Hundred Pesos (PhP700.00).

How to Apply

Before starting your application, register first with the NAPOLCOM Online Scheduling System. Follow the steps below.

Step 1: Go to the NAPOLCOM website www.napolcom.gov.ph;

Step 2: Click the NAPOLCOM Online Scheduling System link;

Step 3: Fill out the required data and review the same;

Step 4: Upload:

  • For civilian applicant: One (1) valid government-issued I.D. with applicant’s date of birth (National, Passport, Postal, Driver’s License, etc.);
  • For PNP member: PNP ID; and

Step 5: You will receive a NOTICE showing the date of your on-site application processing at the Regional Office. Make sure to take a screenshot or print a copy.

Applicants with a confirmed schedule should go to the Regional Office between February 18 and March 20, 2026, to process their application and fill out the Examination Application Form and Information Card (provided by the office) with the required documents.

What to Bring During the Examination

  1. Notice of Admission (Issued on the day he/she files his/her application for the examination);
