What is the NAPOLCOM Exam?
The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) Exam is a standardized test administered in the Philippines for individuals who want to join or get promoted within the Philippine National Police (PNP).
It comes in two (2) types: the Entrance Exam for aspiring police officers and the Promotional Exam for current officers seeking higher ranks.
The Entrance Exam evaluates communication, logical and quantitative reasoning, and general knowledge.
The Promotional Exam assesses knowledge and skills relevant to police duties and the desired rank. Passing this exam is essential for joining the PNP or advancing in rank.
Requirements
An applicant with a confirmed processing schedule should proceed to the Regional Office from October 08 to November 06, 2024, for the processing of his/her application, including the filling out of the Index Card (to be provided by the Regional Office), with the following requirements:
PNP Entrance Exam (Civilians)
- Notice generated after registering online (printed or electronic copy);
- One (1) recent passport-size photo (color) with name tag (first, middle, and last names);
- One (1) valid government-issued ID with the applicant’s date of birth (National, Passport, Postal, Driver’s License, PRC, etc.);
- One (1) legal-size envelope with Twenty-One Pesos (PHP 21.00) worth of mailing stamp; and,
- Exam Fee: Four Hundred Pesos (PHP 400.00).
PNP Entrance Exam (Patrolman/Patrolwoman with Temporary Status of Appointment)
- Notice generated after registering online (printed or electronic copy);
- One (1) recent passport-size photo (color) with name tag (first, middle, and last names);
- PNP ID;
- One (1) legal-size envelope with Twenty-One Pesos (PHP21.00) worth of mailing
stamp; and, - Exam Fee: Four Hundred Pesos (PHP400.00).
Promotional Exam (PO4th, PO3rd, PO2nd and P01st Class)
- Notice generated after registering online (printed or electronic copy);
- One (1) recent passport-size photo (color) with name tag (first, middle, and last
names); - PNP ID;
- One (1) legal-size envelope with Twenty-One Pesos (PHP21.00) worth of mailing stamp; and,
- Exam Fee:
a. Four Hundred Pesos (PHP400.00) PO4th Class;
b. Four Hundred Fifty Pesos (PHP450.00) PO3rd Class; c. Five Hundred Pesos (PHP500.00) PO2nd Class; d. Six Hundred Fifty Pesos (PHP600.00) PO1st Class.

Schedule And Deadline
The Examination date of the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) is November 24, 2024.
The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) will open its online registration at 12:00 noon of October 07, 2024. The last day of registration is on October 11, 2024.
An applicant with a confirmed processing schedule should proceed to the Regional Office from October 08 to November 06, 2024, for the processing of his/her application.
