Job Description

As an SMT Operator, you’ll be responsible for a range of important tasks, including:

Proper handling and supervision of the machines, performing the necessary interventions.
Knowledge of the relevant technological, quality, and work safety regulations and compliance with these regulations.
Ensure the continuity of production and immediately inform the direct supervisor in case of the continuity is threatened.
Give feedback on the incurred errors in order to modify the SMT process and prevent additional errors.
Continuous communication with the touch-up operators, line leaders, technicians and the SMT- and Quality Engineering team.
Proper handling and storage of entrusted tools and materials, SMT and machine parts (coils, PCBs, SMT raw ( coils, PCBs, SMT raw materials )
Take care of machines and equipment, maintain order and cleanliness in the work area (55).
Perform work according to the ESD, ESH and IPC standards

Job Qualifications

To be considered for this SMT Operator position, you should meet the following qualifications:

Education: Possess a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, or demonstrate equivalent experience.
Experience: Have at least 2 years of experience as an SMT operator in the Automotive Manufacturing industry.
Technical Skills: Showcase expertise in operating main SMT line machines, including Pick and Place machines, Solder Paste Mixers, Ovens, SMT Loaders, Solder Paste Printing machines, Solder Paste Inspection tools, Reflow machines, AOI (Automated Optical Inspection), Docking stations, and SMT Unloaders.
