BFP Region 6 Recruitment

BFP Region 6 has recently announced that it is accepting applications for one hundred twenty seven (127) vacancies for Fire Officer 1 (FO1) Regular Recruitment CY 2023.

General Qualifications

  • A citizen of the Republic of the Philippines;
  • A person of good moral character;
  • Must have passed the neuro-psychiatric evaluation, medical examination and drug test for the purpose of determining his/her physical and mental health;
  • Must not have been dishonorably discharged or dismissed for cause from previous employment; and
  • Must not have been convicted by final judgement of an offense or crime involving moral turpitude.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be a Baccalaureate degree holder;
  • Must possess any of the following 2nd level eligibilities (PRC, MARINA, CSC Prof/ PD 907/ FOE);
  • Must be at least 1.57 meters or 5’2″ in height for male and 1.52 meters or 5’0″ for female;
  • Must weigh not more or less than five (5) kilograms from the standard weight corresponding to his/her height, age and sex;
  • Must not be not less than twenty-one (21) nor more than thirty (30) years of age on the actual date of appointment, assumption of duty/oath of office.

  • Application Letter stating their intent to apply to the position of Fire Officer 1 (FO1) and addressed to CSUPT JERRY D CANDIDO, DSC, Regional Director, BFP Region 6;
  • Original or Authenticated copy of Service Record (for former government employees);
  • One (1) Handwritten Personal Data Sheet (PDS) – (CSC Form 212 Revised 2017) kindly print in black and use blue ink pen for affixing all signatures; DO NOT use sign pen.
  • Two (2) original or authenticated copies of Transcript of Records and College Diploma (by the school registrar);
  • Two (2) original or authenticated copies of Second Level Eligibility (CSC or PRC or MARINA, as the case may be) and one (1) valid PRC or MARINA ID, whenever applicable, authenticated by issuing agency;
  • Two (2) Security Paper (SECPA) copies of Certificate of Live Birth issued by PSA;
  • Two (2) Security Paper (SECPA) copies of Certificate of Marriage and Birth Certificate of dependents (if applicable) issued by PSA;
  • One (1) original and one (1) Photocopy of recent clearances from Barangay, Police, NBI, RTC, and MTC;
  • Photocopy of Certificate of Waiver (for applicants with age and/or height deficiency/ies);
  • Photocopy of Member’s Data Form (Pag-IBIG), Member Data Record (PhilHealth) if available;
  • Photocopy of Tax Identification card, if available or any related documents/ forms indicating the Number of the required Card;
  • Photocopy of Professional Driver’s License codes A, A1, B, B1, B2, C, D and/or Nc II/III (if available);
  • ECG result with reading from Cardiologist (submit the scanned result with readings and serum pregnancy test result for female to the BFP6 regional Health Services Section email address: bfp6hss.recruitment@gmail.com).

NOTE: Applicants with previous employment shall be required to submit additional clearances obtained from their previous employer whichever is applicable. Company/ agency clearance, IAS clearance, Certificate of Non-Pending Case, Certification of Honorable Dismissal, and the like.

For those applicants who have lacking clearances, they are required to execute an affidavit of undertaking (duly notarized) specifying that they shall submit the required clearances on/or before April 21, 2023. Said affidavit of undertaking shall be applicable on clearances only.
