About DHSUD
The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) is a government agency in the Philippines that was established in 2019 through the Republic Act No. 11201. Its primary responsibility is to formulate policies, plans, and programs for the development of human settlements and urban areas in the country. This agency aims to provide affordable and decent housing for all Filipinos, especially those who are marginalized and have limited access to housing.
