About CHED

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) is a government agency in the Philippines responsible for the regulation, coordination, and supervision of higher education in the country. Its main functions include the accreditation of higher education institutions and programs, the formulation and implementation of policies and guidelines on higher education, and the provision of financial assistance to deserving students. CHED was created in 1994 through Republic Act No. 7722 or the Higher Education Act of 1994.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job
  • Work Experience: 3 years of relevant experience
  • Training: 16 hours of relevant training
  • Eligibility: Civil Service (Professional)/ Second Level Eligibility

Three (3) Senior Education Program Specialist (Salary Grade 19)

  • Offices:
