About BSP

Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) is the central bank of the Republic of the Philippines. Established on July 3, 1993, it is tasked with promoting price stability and ensuring a sound financial system in the country.

BSP’s headquarters is located in Manila, the capital city of the Philippines. It has 20 branches across the country and employs more than 5,000 people. The BSP’s Governor is the head of the bank and is appointed by the President of the Philippines.
