About PEZA

PEZA, or the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, is a government agency in the Philippines that was established in 1995 to encourage foreign investment in the country. Its main objective is to promote and facilitate the establishment of economic zones, and provide assistance to investors in these zones.

One of the main reasons why investors are attracted to PEZA is because it offers a wide range of incentives, including tax holidays, duty-free importation of capital equipment and raw materials, simplified import-export procedures, and other financial incentives.

PEZA’s mandate is not limited to just creating economic zones. The agency also provides a wide range of services to investors, including assistance in securing permits and licenses, facilitating the registration of businesses, and providing support for workforce development.

PEZA is committed to promoting sustainable development in the economic zones it manages. The agency encourages investors to implement environmentally-friendly practices and invest in renewable energy. PEZA also provides training and support to its employees and partners on environmental management and sustainability.

PEZA is known for its investor-friendly policies and streamlined processes. The agency has established a one-stop shop where investors can access all the services they need to set up and operate their businesses in the economic zones.

Since its creation, PEZA has been instrumental in attracting foreign investment to the Philippines. The agency has helped create thousands of jobs and has contributed significantly to the country’s economic growth.

So for those seeking meaningful and rewarding employment, it’s worth checking out PEZA’s career opportunities and considering joining the agency in its mission to drive economic growth and development in the Philippines.
