Job Description

Enrolled nurses and staff nurses are healthcare professionals who work in hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and other healthcare facilities. 

They are responsible for providing high-quality:

  •  patient care, 
  • monitoring patient health, 
  • administering medications, 
  • and assisting physicians and other healthcare professionals in various medical procedures.

Enrolled nurses typically work under the supervision of a registered nurse or a physician. 

They are responsible for:

  • taking patient vital signs, 
  • assisting with patient hygiene, 
  • documenting patient health information, 
  • and administering medications as prescribed by a physician. 
  • They also provide emotional support to patients and their families, 
  • educating them on proper healthcare practices and disease prevention strategies.

Staff nurses, on the other hand, have more responsibility and autonomy in their roles. 

They are registered nurses who have completed a nursing degree and have obtained a nursing license.
