PNP Lateral Entry General Qualifications

To qualify for the PNP Lateral Entry Program, applicants must meet the following general qualifications:

  • A citizen of the Philippines
  • A person of good moral character
  • Must pass the BMI, Physical Agility Test, Neuro, Medical Examination, and Drug Test
  • Must be eligible in accordance with the standards set by NAPOLCOM

  • “In-Service” applicants refer to those who are already employed with the Philippine National Police (PNP). This includes, but is not limited to, Non-Uniformed Personnel (NUP) and current PNP members.
  • Not all professions listed in the application form have available slots. Please refer to the official announcements on lateral entry quotas for Technical Officers posted on PRS platforms, such as the PRS Facebook Page, Viber Community, and the PRS Head Office (Sandigan Hall, Camp Crame), among others.

PNP Lateral Entry Basic Salary

Successful applicants under the PNP Lateral Entry Program will be appointed as police officers with the following basic monthly salaries, depending on rank:

How to Apply for PNP Lateral Entry

Here’s a simple step-by-step guide to help you apply properly:

Step 1: Check Your Eligibility

Review the general qualifications and confirm that you meet the specific qualifications for your chosen service:

  • Forensic Group (FG)
  • Health Service (HS)
  • Chaplain Service (CHS)
