About PHIVOLCS

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS, Tagalog: Surian ng Pilipinas sa Bulkanolohiya at Sismolohiya) is a government agency in the Philippines that is responsible for monitoring and studying volcanic and seismic activities in the country.
