About DSWD

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Region 9, also known as the Zamboanga Peninsula and Basilan Administrative Region. It is a regional office of the DSWD in the Philippines that provides social welfare services and programs to the communities in the Zamboanga Peninsula and Basilan provinces.

The DSWD Region 9 is responsible for implementing the policies and programs of the DSWD at the regional level and ensuring that the needs of the marginalized sectors are met. It provides a range of services, including but not limited to the following: Protection and care for children, women, and families; Provision of livelihood opportunities and assistance; Disaster response and recovery.

The DSWD Field Office 9 is actively seeking individuals who are interested in working for the organization. This means that the DSWD Region 9 is currently open for hiring and is accepting applications from qualified individuals who would like to join their team.
