About PCAF
The Philippine Council for Agriculture and Fisheries (PCAF) is a government agency under the Department of Agriculture (DA) of the Philippines. Its primary function is to provide policy recommendations, coordinate research and development activities, and facilitate technology transfer in the agriculture and fisheries sectors of the country.
PCAF was established in 1996 through Republic Act 8435, also known as the Agriculture and Fisheries Modernization Act (AFMA) of 1997.
