Philippine Navy Recruitment 2022: Naval Forces Western Mindanao

The Philippine Navy is the naval warfare service branch of the Armed Forces of the Philippines. It has an estimated strength of 24,500 active service personnel, including the 8,300-strong Philippine Marine Corps. It operates 80 combat ships, 13 auxiliary ships, 25 aircraft and 8 unmanned aerial vehicles.

The Philippine Navy will hold a mobile recruitment from 21-25 February 2022 at Naval Forces Western Mindanao, Calarian Zamboanga City. If you are interested you can check the schedule, qualifications, and requirements below.




Naval Officer Candidate Course (NOCC)

  • Opportunities:
    • Opportunity to serve the country as sailors/marines

  • Qualifications:
    • Natural born Filipino Citizen
    • Baccalaureate Degree holder (preferably technical courses)
    • At least 20 years old but not a day older than 25 years old on the date of admission Height of not less than 5’0″ (152.4cm) for both male and female
    • Single and never been married, never borne or sired a child
    • Of good moral character
    • Physically and mentally fit for training
  • Application Requirements:
    • Diploma
    • Transcript of Records (TOR)
    • PSA Birth Certificate

Sailor Basic Course (SBC)

  • Opportunities:

    • Opportunity for foreign posting such as Military Attache and Military Observers
  • Qualifications:
    • Natural born Filipino Citizen
    • Has completed 12 years of basic education under K to 12 or has at least 72 units of a collegiate course from an educational institution recognized by the Government, or has at least completed from Technical Education Skills Development Authority (TESDA) any Technical Course with National Certificate (NCII)
    • Not less than 18 years old but not a day older than 26 years old upon appointment as Sailor
    • Candidate Height of not less than 5’0″ (152.4cm) for both male and female
    • Single and never been married, never borne or sired a child
    • Of good moral character
    • Physically and mentally fit for training
  • Application Requirements:
    • Diploma
    • Transcript of Records (TOR)
    • TESDA NC II – if any
    • PSA Birth Certificate

Philippine Navy Salary and Benefits

As a naval officer, you can earn as much as 43,686 while on training and 52,143 upon graduation. Furthermore, you can avail yourself of free housing facilities, medical and dental services. A lot of opportunities will be waiting for you as well. You can study abroad with good compensation and allowance. You can also avail post graduate studies at top universities.
