BJMP Recruitment for CY 2022: Hiring Jail Officer I in Region 4A

The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), also referred to as the Jail Bureau, was created pursuant to Section 60 to 65, Chapter V, RA No. 6975, and initially consisting of uniformed officers and members of the Jail Management and Penology service as constituted under Presidential Decree No. 765. RA 9263.

As of January 4, 2022, the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Regional Office 4A is still accepting applications for the position of Jail Officer 1 for the year 2022.

What are the Qualifications?

  1. A citizen of the Republic of the Philippines;
  2. A person of good moral character;
  3. Must have passed the psychiatric/psychological, drug and physical tests for the purpose of determining his/her physical and mental health;
  4. Must possess a baccalaureate degree from a recognized institution of learning;
  5. Must possess appropriate eligibility (Second Level eligibilities: CSE-Professional, RA 1080, and Penology Officer Examination, etc);
  6. Must not have been dishonorably discharged or dismissed for cause from previous employment;
  7. Must not have been convicted by final judgment of an offense or crime involving moral turpitude;
  8. Must not be less than 21 nor more than 30 years of age
  9. Must meet the required BMI (Body Mass Index)
  10. Must be at least 5’2 or 1.57m for male and 5’0 or 1.52m for female, provided that a waiver for height issued by the NCIP or NCMF shall be presented

What are the required documents?

  1. Handwritten Duly Accomplished Personal Data Sheet (CS Form 212, 2017)
    1. Photocopy of MDF verified by PAG-IBIG
    2. Photocopy of MDR verified by PHILHEALTH
    3. Photocopy of TIN ID/TIN Verification from BIR
  2. Photocopy of Transcript of Records
  3. Photocopy of College Diploma
  4. Photocopy of Birth Certificate issued by PSA (Bring your original Birth Certificate)
  5. Photocopy of Certificate of Eligibility or Board Rating and PRC ID
  6. Photocopy of Valid Clearances from Permanent and Residential Address (NBI, Police, Barangay, MTC, RTC, and Prosecutor’s) Bring the original copies of your valid clearances
  7. Photocopy of Valid Community Tax Certificate
  8. Photocopies of certificate/s of previous and present employment (if applicable)
  9. Photocopies of certificate/s of Seminars/Training completed (if any)
  10. Photocopy of Marriage Certificate (if married)
  11. Photocopy of Certificate of Confirmation from NCIP/NCMF (if needed)

*Bring two (2) pieces passport size picture with nametag, result of HEPA B Screening, Ishihara Test (21 plates) and Visual Acuity Test

What are the additional requirements?

  1. Three (3) COMPUTERIZED Duly Accomplished Personal Data Sheet (revised 2017)
  2. Three (3) House Sketch of Permanent and Residential Address with LANDMARKS and screenshot from GOOGLE MAP.
  3. Photocopies of Valid Clearances from Permanent and Residential Address (NBI, Police, Barangay, MTC, RTC, and Prosecutor’s)
  4. 4R Picture (Whole Body barefoot)
