RA 10966, Declaring December 8, 2021, a Non-Working Holiday

Proclamation No. 986 established the Philippine Holidays 2021. (Declaring the Regular Holidays and Special Non-Working Days for the Year 2021). [15]President Rodrigo Duterte signed it.

Republic Act No. 10966 declares December 8, 2021, as a holiday. This is also included in the President’s Proclamation of Regular Holidays and Special (Non-Working) Days for 2021.

The Act of the Republic. No. 10966, commonly known as “An Act Declaring December 8 of Each Year as a Special Non-Working Holiday in the Entire Country to Commemorate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of Mary, the Principal Patroness of the Philippines.”

DECEMBER 2021 HOLIDAYS

  • December 8, 2021 – Feast of the Immaculate Concepcion of Mary
  • December 25, 2021 – Christmas Day
  • December 30, 2021 – Rizal Day

SPECIAL WORKING DAYS

  • December 24, 2021 – Christmas Eve (Proclamation No. 1107)
  • December 31, 2021 – Last Day of the Year (Proclamation No. 1107)
