PhilSys National ID step 2 Registration online booking now opens in Region 1, 2, 3, 4B, 5, 8, 9, 11, 12, CARAGA, & BARMM

The Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) Act forbids registrants from wearing cosmetics or body jewelry during Step 2 registration in order for their real identification to be reflected in the Philippine Identification (PhilID) card and PhilSys Registry.

Step 2 Registration entails collecting biometric data from registrants and validating their demographic information at local registration centers. It captures the iris, fingerprints, and a front-facing photograph.

The earliest appointment schedule is on September 13, 2021.

Required Documents For Step 2 Registration Of PhilSys

Filipino citizens must submit at least one (1) genuine and original copy of the supporting documents shown below. Registrants are encouraged, however, to bring a PSA-issued Certificate of Live Birth as well as one (1) government-issued ID, if available, for the counter-checking of their data gathered during Step 1 Registration.

The following are the required documents for the registration process of PhilSys National Identification System Step 2 (For Filipino Citizens Only);

  1. Primary Documents
    • PSA-issued Certificate of Live Birth AND one (1) government-issued identification document which bears a full name, front-facing photograph, and signature or thumbmark;
    • DFA-issued Philippine passport or e-passport;
    • GSIS or SSS-issued Unified Multi-purpose Identification Card (UMID);
    • Land Transportation Office (LTO)-issued Student License’s Permit or Non-professional/Professional Driver’s License
  2. Secondary Documents
    • PSA-issued Certificate of Live Birth/NSO-issued Certificate of Live Birth with Birth Reference Number (BreN)
    • LCRO-issued Certificate of Live Birth
    • PSA-issued Report of Birth
    • PSA-issued Certificate of Foundling
    • Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Identification Card
    • Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) ID
    • Seaman’s Book
    • Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) ID

In addition, registrants must bring their appointment sheets, which indicate the location and time of their Step 2 registration. If the registrant has misplaced his/her appointment slip, he/she must submit a text or email message including his/her appointment reference number (ARN), schedule, and registration location to PhilSys officials. Registrants will be notified of their changed schedules via SMS or email message with the new Step 2 Registration schedule.
