Window tinters, also known as auto glass tinters, are trained technicians that measure, cut, and apply window tinting on customer and company vehicle windows. By blocking out UV rays, window tints can make the inside of a vehicle significantly cooler and more comfortable, particularly during hot summer months. Window tints also reduce glare from the sun for greater comfort for your eyes. The color of “natural glass” usually varies between green and bluish green, based on the differing amounts of naturally occurring “impurities” of iron in the sand. Even today, common glass usually has a slight green or blue tint, arising from the same types of impurities.
